Connecting Managers to their PAs for Ultimate Business Success


A one day training programme for Managers and Executive’s to attend to develop a successful framework to work with their own PAs.



We understand that it can be challenging for Managers and Executives to identify the most effective ways to get the greatest benefit working with a PA.   This one day development programme will give you a solid frame work for unlocking the potential of the business partnership and how utilising your PA will give you an extra business advantage.  Recent research has shown that an Executives output raises by up to 40% with an effective Assistant - that's quite some statistic and one that should not be ignored.

This development programme is designed for all levels of Managers that work with a PA, whether you are experienced in using the services of a PA, in the process of establishing a business relationship with a new PA, a first time “PA user” or are looking to develop the business partnership further.

Delegate numbers are capped at 10 participants to allow for maximum interaction, discussion and individual feedback.



Course content: 

• Identifying your own personal business support needs and areas for delegation

Pinpoint specific areas/tasks/projects of your role that you can delegate to your PA to enable you to focus on strategic issues. Creating a two-way delegation process. Communicating and planning the delegation areas with your PA is pivotal to creating a successful business partnership.

Setting up and maintaining clear communication structures

Develop a comprehensive and clear process to enable a long term successful communication structure with your PA. Create a regular agenda to ensure that all expectations are being met. Giving your PA the information they require to work proactively on your priorities. Communicating your perspectives, expectations and business support needs.

• Communicating out to your team the expectations and responsibilities of your PA
 
Re-defining and communicating the role and responsibilities of your PA to your team. Defining what your PAs role is within the team and communicating any devolved responsibilities and authority that you have given to your PA. Setting out your expectations of how the team communicates, responds to and utilizes your PA and defining your PAs authority to the team.

• Empowering your PA to work pro-actively and autonomously. Setting challenging goals.

Once you set clear communications structures, expectations and responsibilities for your PA and yourself you will be able to encourage your PA to become more pro-active and this will automatically allow your PA to work more autonomously. Facilitate your PA to develop joint processes to support your workload and business priorities. Setting challenging goals and objectives with your PA to enable them to reach their own full potential whilst supporting yours.



Managers will leave this training programme feeling motivated and excited to develop a robust and effective business partnership having developed success strategies in communicating, delegating and working with one of their strongest assets - their PA.
